Team

A specialist team ready to deliver the next stage

Data People Connected was founded to tackle one of the biggest barriers to digital change: organisations, cities and critical infrastructure cannot securely connect, trust and act on data held in separate systems.

Our story

From research to product

10+ yearsof development, funded by Innovate UK and the founders

Buttress went live in January 2022; nodeStream build began in 2024.

For more than a decade, we have developed the foundations for secure data sharing through feasibility studies, applied projects and platform engineering, funded by Innovate UK and by the founders.

That work produced Buttress, our open-source data access layer, and nodeStream, the platform built on it. Together they form a digital spine that connects existing systems without replacing them.

Our platforms are now implementation-ready for trial programmes, and our focus is on delivery, commercial conversion and planned growth.
